On October 21 this year, a republican methodological seminar was held on the topic: "Religious expertise: goals and objectives".
The seminar was attended by the Chairman of the Committee on Religious Affairs of the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan - E. Nukezhanov, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Religious Affairs - A. Khatiev, Head of the Department of Religious Expertise of the Committee on Religious Affairs - N. Kabylov, Director and employees of the Department the religious expertise of the Institute for the Analysis of the Religious Situation and the Religious Expertise of the N. Nazarbayev Center for the Development of Interfaith and Intercivilizational Dialogue, as well as representatives of local executive bodies and communal state institutions.
The speakers highlighted the topical issues of conducting religious studies and noted the importance of the work being done for society. They voiced some problematic issues in the activities of local executive bodies and institutions in the field of religions.
During the seminar, a constructive exchange of views took place, as a result of which specific recommendations were given to the meeting participants.
