Working Group of the Secretariat of the Congress

The Working Group of the Secretariat of the Congress is its working body responsible for ongoing substantive, expert and coordination work on matters related to the preparation of the Congress, the activities of the Secretariat of the Congress, and the implementation of the decisions of the Congress during the inter-Congress period.

The Working Group of the Secretariat of the Congress is formed from representatives of the world and traditional religions represented in the Secretariat of the Congress, as well as other foreign representatives in accordance with the approved composition, subject to coordination with the authorized state body.

The main functions and tasks of the Working Group of the Secretariat of the Congress are to:

  • conduct preliminary substantive and conceptual consideration of matters to be submitted to the Secretariat of the Congress;
  • review and coordinate draft agendas, declarations, communiqués, protocols, roadmaps and other documents of the Congress and the Secretariat of the Congress;
  • consider proposals concerning the themes and substantive content of the Congress, its plenary and breakout sessions, international events and initiatives;
  • review the progress of implementation of the final documents of the Congress and decisions of the Secretariat of the Congress;
  • submit proposals on international initiatives and projects implemented under the auspices of the Congress;
  • consider other matters assigned by the Head of the Secretariat of the Congress or submitted by the Center in coordination with the authorized state body.
