Chairman of the Board of the N. Nazarbayev Center B. Sarsenbayev met with Hungarian Ambassador Otto Ivan Rona

On August 24 of this year, Bulat Sarsenbayev, Chairman of the Board of the N. Nazarbayev Center for the Development of Interfaith and Intercivilizational Dialogue, met with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Hungary, Mr.Otto Ivan Rona.

During the meeting, B. Sarsenbayev, as the Commissioner for the promotion of the goals and objectives of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions informed Mr.Otto Ivan Ron with the priority areas of activity, goals and objectives of the N.Nazarbayev Center and also the work of the Center on the organization and preparation for the VII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions. The Chairman of the Board of the Center also noted that the Congress is a unique dialogue platform that gathers representatives of different religions to discuss the current challenges of humanity.

In his turn, Mr.Otto Ivan Rona assured that the Hungarian Embassy will take all necessary measures to maintain cooperation between Hungary and Kazakhstan on issues of ensuring interfaith harmony and promoting intercivilizational dialogue in the world.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed on further cooperation in the framework of preparatory work for the XX meeting of the Congress Secretariat and the VII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions.

 For reference: Vilmos Fischl, Secretary General of the Ecumenical Council of Churches of Hungary is expected to participate in the VII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions.
