On February 18, by the decision of the Board of Directors, Bulat Sergaziyevich Sarsenbayev was appointed Chairman of the Board of the N. Nazarbayev Center for the Development of Interfaith and Intercivilizational Dialogue.
Since 1997, he worked for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Until 2007 he held the positions of first Secretary and counselor of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Israel, worked as a Deputy Director of the international legal Department of the MFA, the chief Consul of the Consulate General of Kazakhstan in Hong Kong (PRC) and the interim Attorney Representative of the diplomatic mission of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Greece.
2007-2020 - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, to the Republic of Iraq concurrently, to the Lebanese Republic, to the State of Palestine concurrently, to the Republic of India, to the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka concurrently. Ambassador-at-Large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
He was awarded the Order «Kurmet».
