The Palace of Peace and Reconciliation hosted the grand opening of the "Voices of Spiritual Traditions" exhibition, organized by the International Center for Interfaith and Interreligious Dialogue to commemorate the Day of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan. Bringing together religious leaders, members of the diplomatic corps, cultural figures, and student youth representatives, the event served as a platform for advancing spiritual values, interfaith harmony, and interethnic unity.
Welcoming remarks were delivered by Maksat Ramankulov, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Religious Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Information; Tatyana Lipina, Deputy Chairwoman of the Board of the International Center for Interfaith and Interreligious Dialogue; and Tomasz Peta, Archbishop of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Saint Mary in the city of Astana. In their addresses, the speakers emphasized the vital importance of preserving spiritual traditions, strengthening a culture of mutual respect, and promoting interfaith dialogue as a fundamental pillar of social harmony in Kazakhstan.
The exhibition featured unique exhibits, artworks, and artifacts reflecting the rich historical heritage and spiritual diversity of the peoples of Kazakhstan. Following the official ceremony, guests explored the display, which was centered on the values of tolerance, humanism, and the peaceful coexistence of various cultures and religions.
