On the participation of the Center’s staff in the International Forum “Future of Forensic Examination in the Era of Artificial Intelligence”

On November 20, 2025, the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (Astana) hosted the International Forum “Future of Forensic Examination in the Era of Artificial Intelligence,” organized by the Alliance of Independent Forensic Expertise (AIFE) and ENU. The forum was dedicated to the 75th anniversary of forensic examination in the Republic of Kazakhstan and brought together representatives of government bodies, the scientific community, and leading international experts.

From the International Center for Interfaith and Interreligious Dialogue, the following representatives participated as invited guests:

Elmira Atigollakyzy Birali, Director of the Department of Religious Studies Expertise, and Moldir Serikbaykyzy Abdikamal, Leading Expert of the Department.

During the forum, key areas of development of forensic examination in the context of digitalization and the introduction of artificial intelligence technologies were discussed, including automation of expert processes, improving the accuracy of data analysis, ethics and standardization of AI application, digital forensics, and international experience in the use of intelligent systems.

The Center’s staff also discussed with foreign specialists the prospects for professional cooperation, including the exchange of methodologies and participation in international projects. Particular interest was shown in the application of artificial intelligence technologies in religious studies expertise. Following the forum, the Center’s representatives were awarded certificates.
