Belgrade, February 21, 2025 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Serbia Madi Atamkulov held a meeting with His Holiness Patriarch Porfirije of Serbia.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the status and prospects of bilateral cooperation.
Ambassador Atamkulov acquainted the interlocutor with the policy of Kazakhstan in the field of maintaining interreligious harmony and interfaith dialogue.
The Kazakh diplomat emphasized the role of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in preserving and strengthening the global interfaith dialogue and, in this regard, presented to His Holiness the Patriarch with an invitation from the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to participate in the VIII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, which will be held in Astana in September 2025.
In turn, the spiritual leader of Serbia, thanking for the invitation, emphasized the relevance and effectiveness of the unique Kazakhstani model, which supports stability and harmony between different faiths.
