The event was attended by the Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defense and Security of Mazhilis of Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kazakhstan - Chairman of the Public Council A.Kuspan, Adviser-Envoy of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the People's Republic of China A.Shalkarbayev, Director of the Institute of Modern Studies of ENU M.-A.Sydyknazarov, Director of the Center for the Study of Human Rights, Inclusion and Civil Society H.Azhigulova and others.
During the meeting, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan R.Vassilenko made a report on the results of the activities of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2023. The reports of the Chairmen of the Committees of the Council on the results of the work done for the current year were also heard.
As part of the discussion of issues of image work, Chairman of the Board of the Center B.Sarsenbayev noted the systematic joint activities of the N.Nazarbayev Center and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan within the framework of the implementation of the provisions of the document "2023-2033 Development Concept of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions", developed on the initiative of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
Following the meeting, the participants approved the "Work Plan of the Public Council for 2024".
