On July 19, 2023, in order to form traditional spiritual and moral values in society, a presentation of books prepared by the Department of Religious Affairs was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Akim of Astana city E.Bayken.
Within the framework of the event, the encyclopedia "Religious objects of the capital" is presented, telling about the history of the emergence of religious associations operating in the capital and their current activities, as well as about religious buildings.

This work is a kind of the first encyclopedia, which presents the history of religious associations and their cult practice.
The following guests were invited to take part at the presentation: Chairman of the Maslikhat of Astana E.Kanalimov, Chairman of the Committee on Religious Affairs of the Ministry of information and social development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Y.Nukezhanov, Chairman of the Board of the N.Nazarbayev Center for the Development of Interfaith and Intercivilizational Dialogue B.Sarsenbayev, heads of religious associations of the capital, representatives of the scientific and expert community and government agencies.

In his speech, B.Sarsenbayev expressed gratitude to the organizers, and also noted that "books will be a good help in the work of specialists of state bodies and the scientific and expert community, contribute to the improvement of religious literacy of the population, especially young people."

In addition, the Chairman of the Board of the Center informed the participants of the event with the preparations for the upcoming jubilee XXI meeting of the Secretariat of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, which will be held on October 10-11 this year under the leadership of the Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan M.Ashimbayev.
