On June 23, 2023 Chairman of the Board of N. Nazarbayev Center for Development of Interfaith and Inter-Civilization Dialogue Bulat Sarsenbayev met with Head of the Metropolitan District of the Russian Orthodox Church in Kazakhstan Metropolitan of Astana and Kazakhstan Alexander.
During the meeting, issues of promoting the goals and objectives of the Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions and further development and promotion of inter-civilization and interreligious dialogue were discussed.
In addition, B.Sarsenbayev told about the preparations for the anniversary XXI Session of the Secretariat of the Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, which will be held on October 10-11, 2023 under the leadership of Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan Maulen Ashimbayev.
At the end of the meeting, Metropolitan Alexander expressed confidence in strengthening cooperation in the field of interreligious harmony and presented to the Chairman of the Board of the Center the prayer book for the first time published in the Kazakh language.
