April 26, 2023 as part of the working trip of the Chairman of the Board of the N.Nazarbayev Center for Development of Interfaith and Inter-Civilization dialogue Bulat Sarsenbayev to the Republic of Turkey (Istanbul) a meeting was held with the Chairman of the Doha International Center for InterfaithDialogue, Ibrahim Saleh Al-Naimi.
B.Sarsenbayev thanked Dr. Ibrahim Saleh Al-Naimi for active participation in the Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, as well as the Doha International Center for Interfaith Dialogue through him for supporting Kazakhstan’s initiatives to promote interfaith and interreligious dialogue.
During the meeting, the parties emphasized the uniqueness of the dialogue platform - the Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions and highlighted the special role of its final document - the Declaration adopted by the spiritual leaders.
In addition, B.Sarsenbayev told about the Center’s activities aimed at the active and consistent promotion of the ideas of the VII Congress and its Declaration in the international information and intellectual agenda. At the same time, the Center continuously analyses the status and dynamics of the development of the religious situation in the world, the main issues and trends in the development of the religious situation in Kazakhstan, as well as religious expertise and research on current topics in the field of religion.
The parties expressed the need to promote inter-faith relations and constructive dialogue.
