Representatives of foreign media visited the N.Nazarbayev Center

On June 3 of this year, Chairman of the Board of the N.Nazarbayev Center for the Development of Interfaith and Intercivilizational Dialogue Bulat Sarsenbayev met with representatives of foreign media who visited Kazakhstan as part of a press tour organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The meeting was attended by journalists from 20 countries representing leading international publications, news agencies and TV channels, including "VERELQ" (Armenia), "EURACTIV.com " (Belgium), "Gza momavlisa" ("Road to the Future") (Georgia), "Al-Gomhuria" ("Republic") (Egypt), "Jerusalem Post" (USA), "Adnkronos", "Domani" (Italy), "AKIrgess" (Kyrgyzstan), "This weekend" ("Independent Morning Newspaper") (Latvia), "Lietuvos Rytas" ("Morning of Lithuania") (Lithuania), "Montsame" (Mongolia), "daily Islamabad Post", "DNA News Agency", "Centerline" (Pakistan), "WNP.PL " (Poland), "Arguments and Facts", "Our Version", "Komsomolskaya Pravda" (Russia), "STV Info Media" (Serbia), "Financne novelties", "stories and traits" (Slovakia), "International Politics digest" (USA), "In detail.UZ" (Uzbekistan), "NAŠE pravda" (Czech Republic), "Korean Bulletin" (South Korea).

During the meeting, Bulat Sarsenbayev, as the Commissioner for the promotion of the goals and objectives of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, informed foreign guests about the key activities of the Center, as well as about preparations for the VII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, which will be held in September this year.

"Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in his Message to the people of Kazakhstan noted that Kazakhstan is entering a completely new era, bringing fundamental changes in all spheres of life. In the conditions of global instability and many new challenges, we need to strengthen our values, form a clear image of the future," B.Sarsenbayev said.

The Chairman of the Board of the Center also stressed the importance of holding a Referendum for Kazakhstanis and noted that the constitutional reform is a logical continuation of all the political reforms of President K.Tokayev since 2019.

Answering journalists' questions, B.Sarsenbayev stressed that the Congress become a significant contribution of Kazakhstan to the global process of interreligious dialogue and took a special place in the world community to strengthen the principles of harmony and tolerance, mutual understanding and cooperation in the international arena.

In their turn, the journalists expressed interest and readiness to further expand productive cooperation with the N.Nazarbayev Center in the field of interfaith dialogue.

The media representatives particularly noted the ideology of peace, unity and harmony laid down by Kazakhstan, which allowed it to build its own model of interreligious and interfaith harmony.
