From April 27 to May 1 this year, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan holds a press tour for foreign journalists. As part of the press tour, on April 29, the N.Nazarbayev Center for the Development of Interfaith and Intercivilizational Dialogue was visited by chief editors, journalists of leading international publications, news agencies, including: EU Reporter (Belgium), Magyar Nemzet (Hungary), Deutschlandfunk, Deutshe Welle (Germany), EFE (Spain), Israel Hayom (Israel), Resett.no (Norway), Conflits (France).
During the meeting, the Deputy Chairman of the Board of the N.Nazarbayev Center, Nurlan Yessimov, informed the guests about the key activities of the organization, the promotion of conceptual ideas of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions at the international level, and preparatory works with the preparations for the upcoming VII Congress, which will be held in September 2022.
In addition, answering journalists' questions, N. Yessimov noted that the Congress was a significant contribution of Kazakhstan to the global process of interreligious dialogue and took a special place in the world community to strengthen the principles of harmony and tolerance, mutual understanding and cooperation in the international arena.
In turn, foreign journalists expressed interest and readiness to further expand productive cooperation with the N.Nazarbayev Center in the field of interfaith dialogue, and also confirmed further support for the international platform - the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions.
At the end of the meeting, a tour of the Museum of Peace and Harmony of the N.Nazarbayev Center was organized for journalists.
