On April 30, 2021, the Institute for Analysis of the Religious Situation and Religious Expertise of the N. Nazarbayev Center for Development of Interfaith and Intercivilizational Dialogue on the ZOOM platform held a republican practical seminar on the topic: «Topical issues of religious and judicial-religious expertise in Kazakhstan».
The Chairman of the Board of the N. Nazarbayev Center  for Development of Interfaith and Intercivilizational Dialogue - B. Sarsenbayev, Director of the Department of Religious Expertise of the N. Nazarbayev Center  - E. Birali, Chief Expert of the Center for Forensic Expertise of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan - D. Musina , Head of the Alliance of Independent Forensic Expertise and Specialized Research - R. Akbarova, Deputy Chairman of the Public Association «Congress of Religious Studies» - A. Oryntai, chief expert of the Department of Religious Expertise of the N. Nazarbayev Center - Zh. Duysebaev, chief expert of the Institute of Forensic Expertise in the city of Shymkent - A. Mirzaho dzhaev, senior lecturer of the Higher School of Law of KAZGUU named after I.S. Narikbayeva - T. Shagdarova, chief expert of the Department of Religious Expertise of the N. Nazarbayev Center  - T. Temirbayev and other private forensic experts.

The main purpose of the event is to comprehensively discuss and exchange experience in solving current issues of the state and the prospects for the development of forensic religious studies in Kazakhstan.

In his welcoming speech, Chairman of the Board of the N. Nazarbayev Center  Bulat Sarsenbayev noted the role of religious and forensic religious expertise in protecting citizens from the ideology of religious radicalism. «The Republic of Kazakhstan is taking all necessary measures to maintain stability in the religious sphere and strengthen interfaith harmony and tolerance in society. In the solution of these problems, a special place is given to religious expertise. In this regard, it is important to note that one of the key tasks of our Center is to organize and conduct a religious examination on materials of a religious nature,» Bulat Sarsenbayev emphasized.

During the seminar, a constructive exchange of views took place between the participants, the scientific and legal problems of religious studies carried out in judicial practice or during the registration of religious organizations were discussed, the significance of the work for society was noted. 
Based on the results of the event, the N. Nazarbayev Center will send appropriate certificates to all participants of the seminar.
