Today, April 26, on the ZOOM platform, a meeting was held between the Chairman of the Board of the N. Nazarbayev Center for development of interfaith and intercivilizational dialogue Bulat Sarsenbayev and the Director of the Institute of Diplomacy of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Marian Abisheva.
During the meeting, Bulat Sarsenbayev spoke about the key areas of the Center's activities, the implementation of international projects and activities of the Center within the framework of the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan's Independence. In addition, he shared information on the preparation process this year for the 19th Secretariat of the Congress, the upcoming VII Congress of Leaders and World Traditional Religions in 2022. «Thanks to the global initiative of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy N. Nazarbayev and the support of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K. Tokayev in the development of interfaith harmony in the country and in the world, the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions has become a recognized unique international platform for dialogue and cooperation between all religions and confessions».
The head of the Center also noted the special role of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the formation of an effective and professional apparatus of civil servants, including in the formation of a research school to improve the skills of existing civil servants.
In turn, the Director of the Institute of Diplomacy of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Marian Abisheva, emphasized the scale of the work carried out by the Center and expressed readiness to further interact with the Center, support the unique idea of Elbasy N. Nazarbayev to convene the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions and other international events, scientific -research projects of the Center.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to sign a memorandum of cooperation in research, exchange of information, implementation of joint projects.
