Today, on April 22, the Chairman of the Board of the N. Nazarbayev Center for development of interfaith and intercivilizational dialogue Bulat Sarsenbayev met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Liat Vekselman.
Ambassador of the State of Israel to the Republic of Kazakhstan Liat Vekselman noted that the Embassy of the State of Israel highly appreciates the established relations with the Center, and is ready to further develop relations in various fields of activity. In light of the above, Liat Vekselman made proposals to organize a trip of Bulat Sarsenbayev to the State of Israel in order to establish mutually beneficial relations with similar structures, sign memorandums of cooperation with leading research institutes, as well as promote interfaith dialogue.
In turn, the Chairman of the Board of the N. Nazarbayev Center Bulat Sarsenbayev spoke about the goals and objectives of the Center, which are based on the international initiatives of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy N.A. Nazarbayev, and also separately dwelt on the policy pursued by the Head of State K. Tokayev aimed at supporting and developing interfaith harmony, not only in Kazakhstan, but also in the world.
Bulat Sarsenbayev also informed the interlocutor about the Center's plans to hold the 19th Secretariat in October 2021 and about the preparations for the VII Congress of Leaders and World Traditional Religions in 2022.
At the end of the meeting, the participants emphasized that Kazakhstan and Israel are linked by reliable partnership, within the framework of which further contours of cooperation were outlined, as well as plans for the near future were coordinated.
