Nazarbayev Center for the Development of Interfaith and Inter-civilization Dialogue and «NUR Media» holding agreed on mutually beneficial partnership relations. This became known today, on April 12, during the meeting of the Chairman of the Board of N. Nazarbayev Center Bulat Sarsenbayev with the Chief Director of the holding Bolat Kalyanbekov.
Expressing gratitude for the opportunity to meet, the Chairman of the Board of N. Nazarbayev Center B. Sarsenbayev dwelled on the key goals and objectives of the Center in promoting the international initiatives of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy N. Nazarbayev towards global interfaith and interreligious harmony.
During the conversation, Bulat Sarsenbayev emphasized that issues of inter-religious and inter-confessional relations are in the constant focus of attention of the Head of State K. Tokayev, and also noted the significant contribution of the President of the country to the development of «spiritual diplomacy».
At the same time, the Chairman of the Board of N. Nazarbayev Center shared plans for preparation for the XIX Secretariat of the Congress, held under the leadership of the Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Head of the Secretariat of the Congress M. Ashimbaev, the Ministry of Information and Social Development, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In addition, Bulat Sarsenbayev said that in order to strengthen the positive image of the country and increase the recognition of the global platform for interreligious dialogue, it is now especially important to support of «NUR Media» holding, in wide informational support of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions.
Emphasizing the significant role of the holding in the media space, B. Sarsenbayev shared ideas for the implementation of joint information and educational projects, production and broadcast of videos aimed at interfaith harmony and unity.
In turn, the head of the largest media company in Kazakhstan, B.Kalyanbekov, noted the scale and significance of the work carried out by the N.Nazarbayev Center both at the state and international levels, and also stressed the readiness for cooperation in the framework of preparatory work for the upcoming international events.
It should be noted that at present the N. Nazarbayev Center, in order to establish partnerships and promote the ideas of the Congress, holds meetings with the country's leading higher educational institutions, research organizations, representatives of the country's largest mass media.
