On March 18 of this year, the meeting beetwen the Chairman of the Board of the N.Nazarbayev Center for the Development of Interfaith and Inter-civilization Dialogue B. Sarsenbayev and director of the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan A.Mukhamediuly was held.
The main purpose of the meeting – the strengthening of cooperation, discussion of initiatives in the field of inter-civilization dialogue, acquaintance with the organizations’ priorities and plans for events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Bulat Sarsenbayev paid special attention to the preparation for the XIX meeting of the Secretariat of the Congress in 2021 and the importance of holding the VII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in 2022.
«Currently, the Center started active preparations for the XIX session of the Secretariat under the guidance of the President of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Head of the Secretariat of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions Maulen Ashimbaev, as well as the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan», - said the Chairman of the Board of the N. Nazarbayev Center Bulat Sarsenbayev.
In addition, the director of the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Arystanbek Mukhamediuly, expressed his readiness to cooperate in preparing for the upcoming meeting of the Secretariat of the Congress and other international events in the anniversary year of the country.
At the end of the meeting, the sides agreed to prepare and sign an appropriate memorandum of cooperation, including on the creation of an exposition on the history of the spread of religions in Kazakhstan.
