On 16 April this year, Chairman of the Agency for Religious Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kairat Lama Sharif met Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey Lale Ulker.
During the meeting they discussed arrangements for the preparation for the upcoming IV Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions.
Ambassador Lale Ulker confirmed the participation of Chief Mufti, President of the Office of Religious Affairs of Turkey Mehmet Germez at the religious forum in Astana. At that, she noted that the long-term cooperation and friendship between our two countries provides an opportunity to share accumulated experience in the religious issues and make a meaningful contribution to the establishment of inter-religious dialogue.
