On October 13, 2025, on behalf of the Chief of Staff of the Senate of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Maxim Spotkay, the Chair of the Board of the International Center for Interfaith and Interreligious Dialogue, Gulsana Kozhabay, presented Letters of Appreciation to the Center’s staff members Zhalgas Askhatuly and Zhamalbek Duysebayev.
This award is given in recognition of their active participation in the preparation and organization of the VIII Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, which took place on September 17–18, 2025, in Astana. It highlighted the significant contribution of the employees of the Center to the successful implementation of one of the key international events aimed at promoting global interreligious dialogue, strengthening mutual understanding among representatives of various faiths, and advancing the values of tolerance, peace, and cooperation.
