Gulsana Kozhabay, Chair of the Board of the International Center for Interfaith and Intercivilizational Dialogue (ICIID), held a meeting with Mark Levin, Executive Vice-Chairman and CEO of the National Coalition Supporting Eurasian Jewry (NCSEJ), on the sidelines of the Special Session of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) on the protection of religious sites.
The meeting took place as part of broader efforts to strengthen international cooperation in the field of religious freedom and interfaith dialogue. During the discussion, both parties explored potential avenues for collaboration, including Jewish community engagement in the initiatives of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, joint educational and youth-focused projects, and strategies to enhance the Congress’s international presence.
Special attention was given to matters of cultural identity within Jewish communities, the importance of sustained interreligious dialogue, and the promotion of values such as mutual understanding and tolerance. The meeting was held in a spirit of mutual interest and openness to continued dialogue.
