On June 13, 2025, as part of an official visit to Kazakhstan, a delegation from the Parliament of Northern Cyprus, headed by Speaker of the AssemblyZiya Öztürkler, paid a visit to the International Center for Interfaith and Interreligious Dialogue. The distinguished guests were welcomed by Marat Kalizhanov, Acting Chairman of the Center's Board. The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Embassy and Nursultan Baitylesov, Member of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The delegation members toured the Museum of Peace and Accord, where they familiarized themselves with expositions dedicated to interethnic harmony and interconfessional dialogue.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties reaffirmed their commitment to continued joint support for initiatives aimed at deepening bilateral cooperation and advancing engagement in the cultural and humanitarian spheres.
