On May 2, 2025, Marat Kalizhanov, Acting Chairman of the Board of the Center for Interfaith and Interreligious Dialogue, held a meeting with H.E. Agalar Rahim oglu Atamoglanov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The meeting covered Azerbaijan's role in fostering interreligious and intercultural dialogue, and addressed potential cooperation between the parties.
Ambassador Atamoglanov highlighted the Embassy's participation in events held in Kazakhstan and reiterated strong support for the forthcoming Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties exchanged invitations to upcoming events hosted by the Center and the Embassy of Azerbaijan.
