Rabat, 21 March 2025 – The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Morocco, Saulekul Sailaukyzy, met with the Advisor on Economic and Civilizational Dialogue to the King of Morocco Mohammed VI, a major entrepreneur Andre Azoulay.
During the meeting, the Kazakh diplomat drew attention to the importance of developing systemic cooperation in the religious sphere between the two countries and presented Andre Azoulay with an invitation from the Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Maulen Ashimbayev to the VIII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, which will be held on September, 2025 in Astana. She also highlighted Morocco’s active participation in previous congresses and noted the Kingdom’s significant contribution to the development of interreligious dialogue.
Andre Azoulay accepted the invitation with great gratitude and confirmed his participation in the Congress. Emphasizing the similarity of views of Kazakhstan and Morocco on strengthening interfaith harmony, promoting ideas of peace, tolerance and mutual understanding, he emphasized the importance of participating in this event. In the future, he proposed to implement joint projects in this direction. Wishing a successful Congress, he noted that this event will become an important platform for constructive dialogue and strengthening global interreligious interaction.
