September 19, 2023 Chairman of the Management Board of the N.Nazarbayev Center for Development of Interfaith and Inter-Civilization Dialogue Bulat Sarsenbayev met with the Ambassador of India to the Republic of Kazakhstan Dr. T.V. Nagendra Prasad and the Director of the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre of the Embassy of India in Kazakhstan Mr. Sanjay Vedi.
During the meeting Bulat Sarsenbayev revealed about the activities of the Center and the role of the VII Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in strengthening religious tolerance and dialogue between civilizations, and also emphasized that the Congress is a unique dialogue platform in the world community to achieve mutual respect among religions and faiths.
He also noted that currently, preparations are being made for the holding of the anniversary XXI Session of the Congress of the Leaders of the World and Traditional Religions under the leadership of the Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan, Head of the Congress Secretariat Maulen Ashibayev.
The Chairman of the Board of the Center congratulated the Ambassador of India on the beginning of diplomatic activities in the Republic of Kazakhstan and wished success in the forthcoming work. The parties agreed on further cooperation in the sphere of interfaith and intercultural dialogue.
At the end of the meeting, Dr. T.V. Nagendra Prasad donated an exhibit "Wooden Wall Panel – Indian Mythology" to the foundation of the Museum of Peace and Reconciliation.
