On May 17, 2023, the Chairman of the Board of the N.Nazarbayev Center for Development of Interfaith and Inter-Civilization Dialogue Bulat Sarsenbayev met with the Director of the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre of the Embassy of India in Kazakhstan Mr. Sanjay Vedi.
During the meeting Bulat Sarsenbayev told about the activities of the Center and the role of the VII Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in strengthening religious tolerance and dialogue between civilizations, and also stressed that the Congress is a unique dialogue platform in the world community to achieve mutual respect among religions, faiths and ethnicities.
He also noted that currently, preparations are being made for the holding of the anniversary XXI Session of the Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions under the leadership of the Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan Maulen Ashibayev.
The parties discussed the organization of the donation of the exhibits of the Cultural Centre to the fund of the Museum of Peace and Reconciliation, and also agreed to hold an exhibition of exhibits from India at the Center in 2024.
At the end of the meeting, a tour of the Museum of Peace and Reconciliation was organized.
