On November 26 this year, in Amman, Chairman of the Board of the N.Nazarbayev Center for Development of Interfaith and Intercivilization Dialogue Bulat Sarsenbayev met with his old acquaintance - Minister of Political and Parliamentary Affairs of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Musa Habes Al-Maita.
During the meeting, an exchange of views took place on the state and prospects of further cooperation between Kazakhstan and Jordan in the field of interreligious and intercultural dialogue.
Commissioner for promoting the goals and objectives of Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, Chairman of the Board of N. Nazarbayev Center Bulat Sarsenbayev acquainted Minister of Political and Parliamentary Affairs Musa Maaytah with the priority areas of activities, goals and objectives of N. Nazarbayev Center, shared plans for international events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and also spoke about the preparations for the upcoming VII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, which will be held on September 14-15, 2022 in Nur-Sultan.
In addition, Bulat Sarsenbayev emphasized that as part of the information coverage of the VII Congress, a series of round tables is being held on the basis of the diplomatic missions of Kazakhstan abroad, which are aimed at promoting the key initiatives of Elbasy to ensure and preserve interfaith dialogue, the development of a unique international platform – the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions at the global level.
Expressing sincere gratitude and respect, Minister of Political and Parliamentary Affairs of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Musa Maaytah, spoke about his readiness to cooperate in promoting the ideas of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, and also showed interest in participating in international events of the Center.
At the same time, within the framework of a working visit to Jordan, Chairman of the Board of N. Nazarbayev Center Bulat Sarsenbayev took part in the opening of a photo exhibition, which was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Jordan on the eve of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
