On November 25, 2021, as part of a working trip to Jordan, Chairman of the Board of N. Nazarbayev Center for Development of Interfaith and Intercivilization Dialogue Bulat Sarsenbayev met with the First Deputy of the Royal Institute of Islamic Thought «Aal al-Bayt» Nabil Al-Saheb.
During the meeting, the Commissioner for Promotion of the Goals and Objectives of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, Chairman of the Board of N. Nazarbayev Center B. Sarsenbayev conveyed to the General Director of the Royal Institute of Islamic Thought «Aal al-Bayt» Minwar al-Mihaid an official invitation to participate in the work of VII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions on behalf of the Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Head of the Secretariat of the Congress M. Ashimbaev.
During the conversation, B. Sarsenbayev informed about the preparations for the upcoming VII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, which will be held on September 14-15, 2022 in the city of Nur-Sultan, shared plans for holding international events timed to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as told about the upcoming round tables with the participation of domestic and foreign experts, implemented by the end of the year by N. Nazarbayev Center together with the diplomatic missions of Kazakhstan abroad with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Education and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In turn, the representative of the Jordanian side highly appreciated the role of Kazakhstan in the international arena, including the outstanding contribution of Elbasy N. Nazarbayev in promoting global dialogue between religions, cultures and civilizations, Head of State K. Tokayev in strengthening interfaith and interethnic harmony in the country and in world, and also expressed readiness to cooperate in further promoting the goals of the Congress of Leaders and World Traditional Religions in the framework of joint events.
