In order to discuss the prospects for cooperation on strengthening interfaith harmony, on November 15 this year, a working meeting of the Chairman of the Board of N. Nazarbayev Center for Development of Interfaith and Intercivilization Dialogue B. Sarsenbayev with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia B. Sadykov took place.
During the meeting, the Chairman of the Board of N. Nazarbayev Center informed about the activities, goals and objectives of the organization, shared plans for international events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In particular, the Ambassador was familiarized with the preparations for the upcoming VII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, which will be held on September 14-15, 2022 in Nur-Sultan.
Expressing gratitude to B. Sarsenbayev for a personal meeting, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Ethiopia B. Sadykov noted his readiness to support joint projects on interfaith development and international promotion of the initiatives of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy N. Nazarbayev to preserve and ensure interreligious harmony.
At the end of the meeting, the Chairman of the Board of N. Nazarbayev Center, Bulat Sarsenbayev, invited Ambassador B. Sadykov to take part in the upcoming international round tables, implemented by the end of the year together with the diplomatic missions of Kazakhstan abroad, with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
