On September 24 of this year, bilateral meeting was held between the Commissioner for Promotion of the Goals and Tasks of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, Chairman of the Management Board of N. Nazarbayev Center for Development of Interfaith and Intercivilization dialogue B. Sarsenbayev and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Kuwait to the Republic of Kazakhstan Tarek Abdullah Al-Faraj.
В.Sarsenbayev spoke about the main goals and objectives of the organization, shared plans for holding international events timed to the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In particular, the Ambassador was familiarized with the progress of large-scale preparations for the 19th Secretariat of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, which will be held on October 5-6 this year in the capital of Kazakhstan - Nur-Sultan.
Expressing gratitude to B. Sarsenbayev for a personal meeting, Ambassador Tarek Abdullah Al-Faraj noted the role of the First President of Kazakhstan N. Nazarbayev and Head of State K. Tokayev in strengthening international security, as well as in preserving interfaith harmony in the world.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed on active interaction in the field of culture and religion in order to strengthen friendly relations between the two countries.
