Today, June 1 of this year, the Chairman of the Board of the N. Nazarbayev Center on the development of interfaith and intercivilization dialogue Bulat Sarsenbayev met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Yerzhan Kistafin.
During the meeting, Bulat Sarsenbayev introduced the priority areas of activity, goals and objectives of the N. Nazarbayev Center, shared plans for holding international events timed to the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and also spoke about the preparations for the VII Congress of World Leaders and traditional religions, which will take place in 2022.
Along with the implementation of projects and activities of the Center, which are of great ideological importance, Bulat Sarsenbayev emphasized the priority of the potential of partnership relations between Kazakhstan and Pakistan in the interfaith sphere.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to hold a round table with the participation of members of the Secretariat and the Congress in Pakistan in order to discuss topical issues of intercivilizational and interreligious development, the key role of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy N. Nazarbayev in creating an international dialogue platform - the Congress of World and Traditional Leaders religions, in strengthening interfaith peace based on tolerance, mutual respect and cooperation
