Today, on April 16, the Chairman of the Board of N. Nazarbayev Center for Development of Interfaith and Inter-civilization Dialogue Bulat Sarsenbayev and director of «Abai» TV channel Azamat Kenesuly discussed the prospects of partnership relations within the framework of a working meeting.
During the conversation, the Chairman of the Board of N. Nazarbayev Center B. Sarsenbayev elaborated on the forthcoming plans and goals of the Center in promoting the international initiatives of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy N. Nazarbayev in matters of spiritual rapprochement of cultures and civilizations.
Emphasizing the significant role of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K. Tokayev in the development of an effective strategy of peace and harmony, Bulat Sarsenbayev focused on the tasks of the Center in strengthening the image of Kazakhstan as a global center for the dialogue of religions and civilizations in the international arena.
Continuing the meeting, the Chairman of the Board of N. Nazarbayev Center informed director of «Abai» TV channel about plans of the Center to prepare for XIX meeting of the Secretariat under the leadership of the Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Head of the Secretariat of Congress M. Ashimbayev, Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ministry of Foreign Affairs RK and international events in honor of the 30th anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan.
In addition, Bulat Sarsenbayev expressed hope that the first cultural TV channel of Kazakhstan «Abai» will provide an opportunity to promote and popularize the achievements of the Kazakh model of interfaith harmony and thereby increase the recognition of the global platform of interreligious dialogue around the world.
For his part, the director of the country's «youngest» TV channel, Azamat Kenesuly, expressed awareness of the ongoing large-scale work of N. Nazarbayev Center and emphasized the readiness to provide broad information support to the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions and other international events of the Center, as well as to implement joint information and educational projects, including the production and broadcasting of a series of television programs, aimed at interfaith harmony and unity.
Recall that at present, N. Nazarbayev Center, in order to establish partnerships and promote the ideas of the Congress, is holding meetings with leading higher educational institutions of the country, research organizations, representatives of the country's largest mass media.
