On the eve of the celebration of International Women's Day – March 8 the grand opening of the exhibition «The Image of a Woman in Different Cultures of the World» took place at the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation.
World Women's Day is a spring holiday, when the achievements of women in political, economic and social fields are celebrated.
Since the beauty of women was appreciated and glorified on their canvases by artists of all times and peoples, artistic masterpieces of famous artists of the city of Nur-Sultan were collected by the initiative of the Museum of Peace and Accord of the N. Nazarbayev Center for the Development of Interfaith and Inter-civilization Dialogue.
The guests of the exhibition have the opportunity to get acquainted with reproductions of paintings by members of the Union of Artists of Kazakhstan, whose canvases are dedicated to beautiful women in different cultures of the world. The paintings depict real and fictional women of different countries and ages, eras and estates, as well as social and marital status.
The exposition of the exhibition consists of the works of the following artists: Omirali Ismailov, Bakhytzhan Aripov, Tileuzhan Batanov, Dariya Kalimova-Kasteeva, Kuandyk Baimukhanov, Asem Abdullayev, Guldana Zhurkabaev, Dinara Nuger, Amanzhol Musalimovady Kasyrbaytayev Smaklova, Duysen Sydygaliev, Seisenkhan Makhanbetov, Mazhit Baytenov, Ruslan Dzhunusov, Yerkinbek Esimov, Adilgali Bayandin, Bakhytbek Mukhametzhan, Yerlan Nazarkul, Amanat Nazarkul, Bakytnur Burdesbekov, Marat Tuksaitov, Renat Elubaev, Ismail Achilov, Gulmaral Tattibaeva.
The exhibition «The Image of a Woman in Different Cultures of the World» will run until March 31, 2021.
