The opening ceremony was attended by Birganym Aitimova, a state and public figure of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Sabina Ayazbekova, academician of the International Academy of Science and Education, academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, professor, Doctor of Philosophical Sciences. Among the distinguished guests were also Gulsana Kozhabay, Chair of the Board of the International Center for Interreligious and Interfaith Dialogue,  Serik Akylbay, Chair of the public association “Kazakhstan Lawyers Union,” member of the 2026 Constitutional Reform Commission, as well as well-known artists Kamil Mullashev and Omirali Ismailov, alongside representatives of the diplomatic corps and the cultural community.

In his welcoming remarks, Temirbolat Bakytzhan, Director of the Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan, emphasized the cultural and social significance of the exhibition hosted at the Presidential Center’s platform. During the ceremony, he also delivered a congratulatory address from Aida Balayeva, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, highlighting the artist’s substantial contribution to the development of national art and the preservation of the country’s cultural heritage.

The exhibition represents an artistic interpretation of the multifaceted image of the nomad as a living fabric of nomadic civilization, where diverse elements such as tradition, culture, lifestyle, and religious beliefs do not exist in isolation but form a unified semantic space. Through her works, the artist engages with the era of the formation of the nomadic cultural code, revealing the process of its historical and spiritual development.

Nelly Bube’s artworks convey an ecologically conscious portrayal of nomadic life, characterized by harmony with nature. Through her paintings, the artist calls for a respectful attitude toward the Earth and the animal world, which are increasingly affected by the pressures of modern civilization. Her artistic exploration emphasizes that a return to origins and respect for the natural environment constitute a vital path toward addressing contemporary ecological challenges.

The exhibition holds particular significance in its resonance with the fundamental initiatives of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, including “The Role of Religions in Combating Climate Change.” This document enshrines principles of responsibility, humanism, and harmonious coexistence between humanity and nature. In this context, Nelly Bube’s artistic language reflects similar value-based orientations.

The artist’s work transcends geographical boundaries, uniting East and West into a shared Eurasian cultural space. As noted by experts, her art reflects spiritual values that bring together different civilizations, generations, and nations.

At the heart of the exhibition lies the Great Steppe as a symbol of unity and dialogue. Nelly Bube’s paintings demonstrate a model of coexistence based on harmony and the absence of conflict. The color palette of her works emphasizes spiritual integrity and the idea of mutual complementarity.

This philosophy resonates with the ideas of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, which provides a unique dialogue platform for open engagement among religious leaders worldwide in the joint search for solutions to global challenges.

In this context, Nelly Bube’s artistic imagery embodies the same principle of unity, presenting different peoples and cultural traditions as parts of a shared world where spiritual values unite rather than divide.

In her works, the “nomadic code”- with the human being at its center as a bearer of spiritual meaning and moral orientation - plays a foundational role in shaping unity.
