On November 12, 2025, the Presidential Center of the Office of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted the grand opening of the photo exhibition “UN – 80: Without Filters,” dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the United Nations.

The event was organized in cooperation with the Office of the UN Resident Coordinator in Kazakhstan and became one of the key highlights of the anniversary program marking the 80th anniversary of the global organization.

The exhibition “UN – 80: Without Filters” presents 80 unique photographs capturing key moments and the daily work of the United Nations over eight decades. These images convey the emotions, energy, and human dimension of international cooperation.

The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of government agencies, the diplomatic corps, international organizations, as well as members of the academic and cultural communities.

Among the attendees were Gulsana Kozhabay, Chair of the Board of the International Center for Interfaith and Interreligious Dialogue, and Marat Kalizhanov, Deputy Chair of the Board.

During the event, the participants emphasized the importance of cooperation between Kazakhstan and the United Nations in strengthening intercultural dialogue and promoting the principles of mutual understanding, tolerance, and solidarity among peoples.

The International Center for Interfaith and Interreligious Dialogue actively cooperates with UN institutions and bodies, including participation in joint projects and international forums.

In this context, special attention was drawn to the ASTANA PEACE DECLARATION 2025, adopted in Astana, which resonates with the UN’s mission and principles of promoting peace, security, and human dignity.

The joint initiatives of the Center and the UN in the field of interreligious and intercultural dialogue contribute to strengthening trust among different communities, fostering a culture of peace, and promoting mutual respect.
