April 25, 2023 within the working trip of the Chairman of the Board of the N.Nazarbayev Center for Development of Interfaith and Inter-Civilization Dialogue Bulat Sarsenbayev to the Republic of Turkey (Istanbul) a meeting was held with Cengis Tomar, Head of the Research and Publications Department of the Research Centre for Islamic History, Art and Culture (IRCICA).
At the meeting, the sides discussed common tasks aimed at the development of intercultural relations, and also stressed the importance of expanding bilateral cooperation between organizations.
B.Sarsenbayev told about the activities of the Center N.Nazarbayev, which is an international platform for holding meetings of the Congress and its institutes and preparatory work on holding the anniversary XXI Session of the Secretariat of the Congress.
The Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions played a special role in strengthening the dialogue between civilizations and religions.
The parties agreed on further cooperation on issues of interfaith harmony within the framework of the memorandum signed between the organizations in 2022.
