On November 12 of this year, a working meeting of the Chairman of the Board of N. Nazarbayev Center on Development of Interfaith and Intercivilization Dialogue B.Sarsenbayev with Rector of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan E. Abil was conducted.
The purpose of the meeting is to carry out close interaction within the framework of the implementation of the memorandum of cooperation in the development of joint research, information, analytical and educational and methodological activities on the implementation of state policy in the field of religion.
During the conversation, the Chairman of the Board of N. Nazarbayev Center B.Sarsenbayev shared with the plans for holding international events timed to the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, spoke about the preparations for the upcoming VII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, which will be held on September 14-15, 2022 in the city of Nur-Sultan, and also informed about the upcoming international round tables implemented by the end of the year by N. Nazarbayev Center together with the diplomatic missions of Kazakhstan abroad with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In addition, B. Sarsenbayev congratulated E. Abil on the election to the Board of Directors of N.Nazarbayev Center and wished him luck in joint work.
In turn, the Rector of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan expressed gratitude to the Chairman of the Board of the Center for a personal meeting, and also stressed his readiness to further promote the goals and objectives of strengthening interfaith dialogue.
