The prospects of partnership were discussed by the Chairman of the Board of the N.Nazarbayev Center Bulat Sarsenbayev and the Director of the Central State Museum Nursan Alimbay

Today, on April 28, within the framework of a working meeting in an online format on the ZOOM platform, Chairman of the Board of the N.Nazarbayev Center for development of Interfaith and intercivilizational dialogue B. Sarsenbayev and Director of the Central state museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan N. Alimbay discussed cooperation in the interreligious, cultural and humanitarian sphere.

Expressing gratitude for the opportunity to meet, the Chairman of the Board of the N. Nazarbayev Center Bulat Sarsenbayev informed about the ongoing comprehensive work of the Center for the development of cooperation with research and cultural organizations of Kazakhstan on the implementation of joint projects and events that contribute to strengthening the dialogue of cultures, religions and civilizations, told in detail on the importance of preparing for the 19th Secretariat of the Congress this year and the next VII Congress of Leaders and World Traditional Religions in 2022.

In addition, the Head of the Center acquainted with the priority directions of the organization's activities in promoting the ideas of the First President of Kazakhstan - Elbasy N. Nazarbayev and the consistent policy of the Head of State K. Tokayev in implementing an effective model of peace and harmony between confessions in the state and international arena.

Continuing the conversation, the Chairman of the Board of the N. Nazarbayev Center B. Sarsenbayev emphasized the high merits and professional experience of the director of the central state museum N. Alimbay, thanks to which in 2005 the museum received the official status of a research organization and for many years retains the position of the main institution in the museum space of the country where the most valuable rare historical and cultural monuments of Kazakhstan are kept.

For his part, the director of one of the oldest and largest museums in the entire Central Asian region, Nursan Alimbay, showed particular interest in further strengthening partnerships and expressed readiness to cooperate in preparing for the upcoming meeting of the Secretariat of the Congress and other planned international events of the N. Nazarbayev Center.

Following the meeting, in order to strengthen fruitful interaction, the parties agreed to sign a memorandum of cooperation and to hold a thematic international photo exhibition «Islam and Humanity: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow» on the basis of the Central State Museum in May this year, timed to coincide with the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan's Independence.

Recall that at present, the N. Nazarbayev Center, in order to establish partnerships and promote the ideas of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, is holding meetings with the country's leading higher educational institutions, research and cultural organizations, representatives of the largest media.
