On 26 August 2026, the International Center for Interfaith and Interreligious Dialogue and the Italian Institute for Political Studies “St. Pius V” (Istituto di Studi Politici “S. Pio V”) held an introductory online meeting.
The meeting was attended by Gulsana Kozhabay, Chair of the Board of the International Center; Ainur Anessova, Director of the Information Department; and Francesco Anghelone, Head of the Office for European Affairs at the Institute for Political Studies “St. Pius V.”
During the meeting, the parties presented the main areas of their organizations’ work and exchanged views on possible formats for further cooperation.
Gulsana Kozhabay spoke about the activities of the International Center, its efforts to promote interfaith and interreligious dialogue, and Kazakhstan’s key international platform in this area — the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions. Particular attention was given to the development of international documents and initiatives aimed at strengthening a culture of dialogue.
Francesco Anghelone presented the Institute’s current research activities, ongoing studies, and prospective areas of academic research.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed their interest in continuing the dialogue and identified potential areas for implementing joint initiatives and projects.
