From May 14 to 27, 2025, the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation in Astana hosted an exhibition dedicated to the Unity Day of the People of Kazakhstan.

This exhibition, which championed interethnic harmony, spiritual unity, and the harmonious development of a multi-ethnic society in our nation, was organized through a fruitful partnership between the International Center for interconfessional and intercivilizational Dialogue and the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Aiming to showcase the historical roots of the unity and cohesion of the people of Kazakhstan, as well as the interplay of cultures, this exhibition served to reaffirm the values of peace and accord and reinforce the concept of national unity, marking it as a significant cultural event.

The exhibition was structured into two distinct sections.

The first section, entitled «United Multi-Ethnic Kazakhstan,» detailed the historical formation of the various ethnic groups residing in our country and the stages of the establishment of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan. Visitors were presented with rare materials and archival documents pertaining to the Assembly's activities as a cornerstone of public accord and national unity, including the compilations "The Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan – in the History of the Country" and "The Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan: First Steps (1995–1997)."

The second section, titled «Cultural Heritage of Multi-Ethnic Kazakhstan,» extensively displayed the culture and spiritual world of the diverse peoples and nationalities within Kazakhstan. Through the artistry of folk crafts, everyday artifacts, and historically significant relics, the unique identity of each ethnic group and its contribution to our nation's progress were vividly illustrated.

The official opening ceremony of the exhibition took place on May 14, 2025, at 3:00 PM in the Atrium Hall on the third floor of the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation.

This exhibition, highlighting the rich cultural heritage of multi-ethnic Kazakhstan, stood as a beautiful testament to the friendship of peoples and spiritual harmony. Residents and visitors of Astana had the opportunity to collectively explore national unity and cultural diversity.
