On December 7, 2023 N.Nazarbayev Center for the Development of Interfaith and Intercivilization Dialogue organized an online presentation of the results of three projects: «Religious conversions in the Republic of Kazakhstan: analysis of the current situation», « Places of religious worship: analysis of the current situation of religious tourism and pilgrimage practices» and «Islamic segments and movements in Kazakhstan: current situation, potential, risks and threats ».
The online presentation was attended by representatives of the Committee on Religious Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, regional Offices for Religious Affairs and Religious issues research centre’s.
The event was moderated by Deputy Chairman of the Management Board M.Karabayeva. The speakers were employees of the Center D.Imanmukhamed, А.Idrisov and G.Sagynbek.
During the presentation, an exchange of views took place regarding the existing problematic aspects identified during the research period, as well as were presented ways to solve them and recommendations.
