The Chairman of the Management Board of the N.Nazarbayev Center for the Development of Interfaith and Intercivilizational Dialogue participated in the meeting of the new third structure of the Public Council on the activities of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, established in 2016 according with the Law "On Public Councils".
Aigul Kuspan, Chairman of the Committee on International Affairs, Defense and Security of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was elected as the new Chairman of the Council.
A number of organizational decisions were made during the meeting. During the discussion, the members of the Council considered the main directions of its upcoming activities in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, civil society, academia and NGOs.
