Taking into account the general areas of work and priorities, on May 18, Chairman of the Board of the N. Nazarbayev Center for the Development of Interfaith and Intercivilizational Dialogue Bulat Sarsenbayev and the head of the Almaty Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Esbulatov Aidar Saitbekov signed a memorandum of mutual cooperation. The purpose of signing a memorandum is to interact in the field of intercivilizational and interfaith dialogue, develop the principles of tolerance and harmony.
The memorandum provides for cooperation between the N. Nazarbayev Center and the Almaty Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the areas of ensuring graduation a series of publications of analytical, research and other directions, including the provision of information support in holding joint events aimed at promoting the unique Kazakhstani model of interfaith and interethnic harmony.
In addition, the parties agreed to interact on organizing lectures by representatives of the Center for the staff of the Academy and providing methodological support in the preparation of materials, exchange scientific information, analytical research materials, documentation, literature and bibliographic publications on a systematic basis, interact in attracting students of the Academy who are fluent in foreign languages in holding joint events, as well as the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions and its Institutions.
We remind you that earlier on May 12, as part of a working visit to Almaty, the Chairman of the Board of the Center N Nazarbayev on the development of interfaith and intercivilizational dialogue Bulat Sarsenbayev held a meeting with the head of the Almaty Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Esbulatov Aidar Saitbekov, at which a decision was made to strengthen partnership relations.
