Dear friends!

I am sincerely glad to share with you the news – on April 25, it will be 2 years since the foundation of N. Nazarbayev Center for Development of Interfaith and Inter-civilization Dialogue.

Due to the idea of creating N. Nazarbayev Center by the participants of the VI Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in 2018, active work is underway to promote the international initiatives of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev, on the spiritual rapprochement of cultures and civilizations, creating an effective strategy of peace and harmony.

To create further sustainable mechanisms of interaction, N. Nazarbayev Center constantly interacts with religious associations of the world and their spiritual leaders, works to establish partnerships and conclude memorandums of cooperation with international organizations and centers within the framework of interreligious and intercultural dialogue.

Currently, we have focused on the preparatory work for holding the XIX Secretariat of the Congress this year and the next VII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in 2022, under the leadership of the Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan M. Ashimbayev, Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Ministry foreign affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In addition, in honor of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, we conduct significant international events, including thematic international conferences at «Peace Talks» discussion platform and a series of international photo exhibitions dedicated to world and traditional religions.

I would like to note that the Institute for the Analysis of the Religious Situation and Religious Expertise operates on the basis of the N. Nazarbayev Center, which analyzes the state and dynamics of the development of the religious situation in Kazakhstan and the world.

Since 2018, the Museum of Peace and Reconciliation has been opened, which provides full access to the national historical and cultural heritage.

Dear friends, for the next few years to come, N. Nazarbayev Center has set ambitious tasks in the field of interfaith and inter-civilizational development around the world. We will strive to implement them at a high global level!

I would be sincerely grateful for your active and productive participation in achieving all the tasks we have outlined!

Best Regards,

the Chairman of the Board of N. Nazarbayev Center for Development of Interfaith and

Inter-civilization Dialogue
