March 13-14, 2024 lectures on the initiatives of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions and the "2023-2033 Development Concept of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions" were held at the universities of Almaty, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Nur-Mubarak Egyptian University of Islamic Culture, as well as Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University.

The purpose of the lectures is to provide a further vision of the development of the Congress and its role in strengthening of interreligious dialogue and cooperation in the modern world. During the lecture, the senior expert of the Center, PhD Ruslan Ibraev, introduced students, undergraduates and teaching staff to the content and main provisions of the «2023-2033 Development Concept of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions».

It should also be noted that the Center plans to conduct online lectures to explain the key messages of the Congress Development Concept with such educational institutions of the Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University, Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, South Kazakhstan University named after M.Auezov and The Atyrau State University named after Kh.Dosmukhamedov.
*For reference: Development Concept of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, adopted by the participants of the XXI Secretariat of the Congress in October 2023 in Astana, defines the general vision for the further development of the Congress, mission, goals and directions of activity until 2033. As part of the new paradigm for the development of the Congress in the coming decade, the mission of the Congress is to further strengthen mutual understanding and respect between communities of world and traditional religions, as well as realize the potential of spiritual diplomacy to help create a just, safe and prosperous future for all humanity.
The congress will develop as a global platform for dialogue and cooperation among religious leaders, open to the participation of representatives of international organizations, national governments, non-governmental organizations, and research structures.
The congress is held once every three years. Since 2003, seven Congresses of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions have been held in Kazakhstan.
