On March 20, 2023 a celebration of the Nauryz holiday took place at Kazmedia. The event was attended by structural units and subordinate organizations of the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Nazarbayev Center for Development of Interfaith and Inter-Civilization Dialogue in cooperation with RPI «Qogamdyk Kelisim» and the Institute of Ethno-Political Research has been prepared and decorated with the yurt «Beybitshilik Auyly – Peace village».
In a congratulatory speech, Chairman of the Board of the N. Nazarbayev Center for Development of Interfaith and Inter-Civilization Dialogue Bulat Sarsenbayev said: “I congratulate everyone on the coming great holiday Nauryz! May this New Year bring to your families kindness and prosperity, may your work be fruitful!”.
Valuable exhibits from the Museum of Peace and Reconciliation, opened in 2018 within the framework of the VI Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, have been installed in the yurt «Beybitshilik Auyly».
The uniqueness of the Museum is that its compositions fully reflect the history of formation and development of values of culture of peace, harmony and civilizations in the territory of Kazakhstan from antiquity to the present day.
As part of the celebration of Nauryz holiday were demonstrated Kazakh national customs «Tusa Kesu» (“cutting of fetters”) and «Zhol Tandau» (“life choice”). At the event, the works of «Yngaitōk», Kyrmangazy’s music «Balbyrauyn» and «Aday» were performed on the Kazakh national musical instruments of syzbyzgy, syrnay saz, prima-qobiz, nar qobyz, qyl qobyz in the performance of an ensemble of folk instruments Saryyarka.
