Lecture on the Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions was held in the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation

On March 10, Chairman of the Management Board of the N.Nazarbayev Center for the Development of Interfaith and Intercivilization Dialogue B.Sarsenbayev lectured on the results of the VII Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions and its Declaration for students, undergraduates, PHD doctoral students of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.

The purpose of the events is to inform to the audience the key messages of a unique dialogue platform – the VII Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions and the final Declaration.

During the lecture, Chairman of the Management Board B.Sarsenbayev briefed students and teachers with the Kazakh model of peaceful coexistence, building a tolerant society and interfaith dialogue, informed about the results of the VII Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, emphasizing its special role in promoting the ideas of peace and harmony in the international arena: "One of the most important global achievements of modern Kazakhstan is the initiation and consistent promotion of intercivilization, interreligious and interfaith dialogue and harmony in the international community, clothed in a unique large–scale format - the Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions" B.Sarsenbayev said.

Lectures on the Congress will be held in Astana - at the Nazarbayev University, in Turkistan - at the Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University, Karaganda Buketov University.

At the end of the lecture, a tour of the Museum of Peace and Reconciliation was organized for students of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. Also, the students visited the exhibition "Jewelry of Turkic women", organized by the N.Nazarbayev Center from March 6 to March 27 in the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation.
