Today, 18 September 2014, a working session on preparations for XIII Secretariat session of the Congress chaired by Mr. K. Tokayev, Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Head of the Secretariat of the Congress of World and Traditional Religions, was held in Astana.
The Senate Speaker underlined the importance of a Confessional Forum for Kazakhstan initiated by the RoK President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
Secretariat's Session will become a crucial preparatory phase for the V Congress of World and Traditional Religions to be held in 2015. In this view, K. Tokayev outlined his vision for conceptual, ideological and political aspects of this significant forum and gave relevant instructions.
