Nazarbayev University held a lecture on the Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions

On April 6, a lecture was held by the Chairman of the Board of the N.Nazarbayev Center for Development of Interfaith and Inter-Civilization Dialogue B. Sarsenbayev on the results of the VII Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions and its Declaration for students of Nazarbayev University.

The lecture is aimed at discussing the key messages of a unique dialogue platform - the Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions and the final Declaration of the VII Congress, promoting the results of the past international event.

B.Sarsenbayev acquainted students and professors with Kazakhstan’s model of peaceful coexistence, building a tolerant society and interfaith dialogue, talked about the results of the VII Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, emphasizing its special role in promoting the ideas of peace and harmony in the international arena: Today, it can be stated that the Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions is a long-term way to popularize and promote inter-civilization, interreligious and interfaith dialogue, aimed at strengthening peace and harmony, stability and security in the world, as well as the international authority of the Republic of Kazakhstan - in the international segment».

Earlier lectures about the Congress were held in the Nur-Mubarak University of Islamic Culture of Egypt, Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi in Almaty, in Astana - in the Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilev, in Karaganda – in Karaganda Buketov University, in Turkestan - in the Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University.
