The grand opening of the exhibition: "Jewelry of Turkic women" took place in the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation

On March 6, the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation the grand opening of the exhibition on the theme: "Jewelry of Turkic women", dedicated to the International Women's Day on March 8.

The organizers of the exhibition the N.Nazarbayev Center for the Development of Interfaith and Intercivilization Dialogue with the Union of Artists of Astana.

The opening of the exhibition was attended by Minister of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan D. Kydyrali, Chairman of the Management Board of the N.Nazarbayev Center B.Sarsenbayev, member of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan B. Zheksenbai, Chairman of the Union of Artists of Astana U. Ismailov, Director of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan T. Bakytzhan, Director of "Kogamdyk kelisim" E.Pauli, President of the Foundation "Otandastar" A.Saparbekuly, representatives of the international organizations, scientific and expert community, religious associations of Kazakhstan, the media, as well as heads and representatives of foreign diplomatic missions in Kazakhstan.

The Turkic peoples respected and valued women as givers of life and keepers of traditions, and the variety of jewelry that emphasizes their beauty is part of the cultural heritage of the Turkic peoples noted Minister of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan D. Kydyrali.

In turn, Chairman of the Management Board of the N.Nazarbayev Center B.Sarsenbayev emphasized that all Turkic peoples are connected by historical origins: "We always remember that language, history and culture have common roots. Today, as part of the exhibition, you will have the opportunity to get acquainted with 70 types of jewelry of the XIX century made of silver. These are breast ornaments "onirzhiek", "bozband", "haykel", bracelets, rings and other jewelry of women of the Turkic peoples," said B.Sarsenbayev.

The exhibition is aimed at familiarizing visitors with the rich historical and cultural heritage of Eurasia, strengthening intercultural interaction, promoting initiatives of the Congress of the Leaders and World and Traditional Religions.

Framework of the exhibition was presented paintings by famous artists: U.Ismailov, E.Aituarov, M.Baitenov, B.Burdesbekova, A.Bayandina, D.Nuger, S.Ermekov, N.Zhardemova, A.Sarsenbayeva, V.Li, J.Kudaibergen, M.Altynbek, M.Baktygereeva, A.Kadyrbaeva, A.Minaidarova, L.Aituarova, A.Ali, K.Zhayyrbek, A.Musalimova, S.Makhanbetova, who depicted in their canvases the beauty of spring, images of women in national ornaments, their tenderness and beauty, traditions and customs of different peoples, the awakening of nature.

In addition, master classes of the famous master jeweler B.Alibai and his students S.Ziyat and M.Ayatbekov on jewelry making were organized during the exhibition.

In general, the heads and representatives of foreign diplomatic missions in Kazakhstan, representatives of international organizations, religious associations positively noted the importance of promoting universal values, cultural traditions, interfaith and interreligious dialogue at the international level and expressed gratitude for organizing the event.

The exhibition "Jewelry of Turkic women" will continues from March 6 to March 27 in the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation.
